Long known for excellent entrances, storefront, curtain wall and window products, the company is enhancing it's electronic presence with the creation of a new website.
"The goal from day one was to create the best website user experience in the industry, and beyond. There is a lot of information on our website for a visitor to absorb, we knew navigation was a key to making the website standout. We came up with a new intuitive way for users to find our CAD Details that I think people will love. The user will have pages from our Architectural Design Manual that they can flip through, and each detail on the page will be a live link to the corresponding CAD file, a very natural progression from working with the book on your desk," says Gary Taylor, Marketing Manager at United States Aluminum. "Ease of access is a second point that we focused on, we know it's annoying when a user is required to register with a website to get to the meat and potatoes. We took the approach that the less barriers we have between the visitor and information the better the experience will be."
